Gaye graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art Painting & Minor in Design. Her vibrant use of color & imagery leaves a story to the viewers imagination. Her current technique incorporates the use of process painting with finishes of a fine artist's touch. Many of her paintings are 3 to 4' in size and painted on a heavy felted roofing paper lending to texture. Viewing closely the many layers are apparent. She begins each painting with a simple thought of what has impressed her in the moment and then allows the painting to build in its own ergonomic way.
